Who we’re looking for

OpenMinds is seeking an initiative-taking and creative Strategic Communications Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in crafting, executing, and measuring the impact of behaviour change communication strategies.

Location: Kyiv / London

In the position you will:

— Design and implement multi-channel strategic communication campaigns informed by behavioural science, AI insights, and deep sociopolitical understanding

— Identify key target audiences, understand their motivations and barriers, and develop tailored messaging to shift attitudes and behaviours

— Select and adapt communication channels (including unconventional and hard-to-reach platforms) to maximise message penetration and engagement

— Manage and oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring alignment with strategy and timely delivery

— Establish clear metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication campaigns, adjusting strategies based on performance analysis

We are a perfect match if you have:

— Proven experience in strategic communications, political campaigning, performance marketing, or behaviour change communication

— Fluency in written Russian and a nuanced understanding of the Russian political, social, and media landscape

— Strong ability to develop narratives and adapt them to different audiences and channels

— Creative and strategic mindset, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges

— Hands-on experience with marketing and analytics instruments, such as media monitoring & listening tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Talkwalker), Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and other campaign measurement tools
